Colourmart.com - In the UK, but shipping is included in prices and any taxes or surcharges so this is a GREAT DEAL. High end coned yarn at reasonable prices. I constantly buy all my Merino and Merino/Cashmere from them on CONES! ALL YARN IS ON CONES which is perfect for machine knitting. They also have a Bargain Area with Yarn on 1KG CONES which is about 2.2 lbs for an even deeper discount. This is by far one of my FAVORITE YARN STORES.
Do not know if you have ever heard of SMILEYS YARNS, in New Jersey - but they have closeouts and sales on yarns all the time, you can get discounts of up to 90% off, NO KIDDING!! www.smileysyarns.com
Some of the best SARI SILK you can get is at SUNMOON TRADING COMPANY and they also have Banana Yarn, Nettle, Hemp, Wool and much more.
NUMEI has yarn by the bag at great prices, but watch the weight when purchasing, some of the packets and/or balls can get a little light.
YARNBOWhas discounts on current yarn, still a little pricy but you do get quality and you can find just about anything there.
YARNIA: Yarnia is the only yarn shop where you can design your very own custom blend of yarn, and buy it by the pound. They specialize in budget-friendly, custom knitting and weaving yarn on cones. Customers can buy their house blends of yarn, which are already wound up in standard knitting and crochet weights, or create their own custom yarn with their Custom Yarn Creator. This brave soul has decided to publish her very own knitting machine magazine, which is a HUGE undertaking, but sorely needed as there is basically only ONE "Knitting Machine" Magazine currently being published, but it costs over $100! So, I personally would like to thank Linda for her efforts in publishing not only a great magazine for Machine Knitters, but also at an affordable price!

Below are a list of knitting magazines. While almost all of them are for hand knitters it is not that hard to translate hand knitting into machine knitting. You can purchase a booklet called "Translating Hand Knitting to Machine Knitting" by Tricia Shaffer from the Knit Knack Shop for about $20 but I have seen this regularly sold for around $12.
A current knitting machine magazine and it costs $110 a year
You get 13 issues and all pages are in color
You can by it at Distinctive Knits from Mike Becker and take a look at his other publications on machine knitting
VOGUE KNITTING Even though the patterns are for hand knitting, still one of the best knitting magazines with the best current fashions with gorgeous sweaters. You can translate the hand knitting pattern into a machine knitting pattern easy enough or may just be so inspired by a pattern you may hand knit a few item also...
