LET THERE BE LIGHT!!
A fabolous light to buy is sold at ALLBRANDS called a "GRACE LUMINOUS LIGHT BAR" and cost around $300. It is great since it is a long light that covers the length of the knitting machine, and is a "natural" light source so you see clearly and also the real colour of your yarn. I have natural lamps around my home and love them. I am going to buy one of these very soon as it is a huge help with my eyes, being over 50 and wear bifocals now. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!!!
It is the Luminous 5' Floor Lamp, an overhead lighting bar that is made by the GRACE COMPANY. It is a "balanced" light source for true colour and a lot less glare, so great when doing colour work.
DIMENSIONS: 2 sizes, 5' or 10' with a steel frame and 4 adjustable positions and in height (which has 3) and width (which has 4).
The bulb is T5 Florescent with 6500K of bright white light for true colour.
There is 2' extensions bar that ONLY be used with the 10' light bar that will exgtend it to 12' long.

This area is dedicated to those thing that I have found most interesting, my favorite pattern makers and the best vendors and knitting stuff around. This information is totally biased, I will admit, as these are my favorite things. But, I also thought that you might find all these items at the very least interesting and possibly might even become your favorite things.
WARNING: Also, there are a few sites that have knitting machine lessons that at first glance look like they are free, BUT they are NOT! Be careful when you "register" as these places will give you a teaser video but require you to "subscribe" for a fee for full access, usually $100 or more. DO NOT BE FOOLED and do not join. Everything you need to know is available on YouTube for FREE and you would be better off spending your money on a DVD that you can watch over and over again and then resell it when you do not need it anymore. You will find out who they are if you do a search as they ALWAYS ask for money, just make sure you do not pay for something you can get for FREE!! I have listed lessons and such which are free or you can search YouTube yourself. Diana Sullivan, who is listed, is a great resource for free lessons and DVD's to buy if you want.
